New York Taxi Data

This was a small project exploring the analysis of big data. In this mini-project, I explored the public data of the New York Taxi Company from 2016. The main goal of this was not pure data analysis but rather a visualization. In total there were 131 million records from 2016, with the company carrying 217,335,302 passengers with an estimated $2,148,287,056 in fairs throughout the year. For the visualization, I used a tool in Excel, however, due to Excell’s 1,048,576 record limit we could only explore this many data points at once.
